    Cool...so do I turn the disq ports off in the antenna setup on my pansat and turn the 22Khz on? Then both lines from the invacom will be seen by the pansat?

    Before I went to all that trouble I would just run a new line from y quad port LNB and bypass the switch but I was hoping there was a receiver option available. Guess not though.

    Because of LOS issues I can't get better than 40% on 101 wit my dtv dish. I'd lke to use my FTA dish to watch 101 since that dish has no LOS issues with that sat. However the dtv receiver can't address a disque port..any way around this? :hatsoff:

    Do a search on the Dreambox. An open source linux based dvb receiver. I suppose you could upload a different algorithm for locating the satellites or create a module to do so but...... not real sure it would be worth the effort since usals works quite well for most people. :hatsoff:

    Pansat 3500S Setup

    I believe the current passing limits for most of the 1.2 switches is .5 amps. Regular use may eventually burn it out but it should work. One of the gold sponsors posted a diagram of how to use 2 receivers to run one motor which required the switch befor the motor as well.

    Interesting..I've been tossing this very idea around in my head. I thought about using the back of a 1m dish to form a fiberglass skin, one cloth layer thick. My idea was to make a light weigh add-on for 76 cm dishes. The LNB arm would of course need to match the larger dish that was molded...

    OK..gotcha...a different encryption that won't register at all on FTA receivers. interesting. Since I know my usals is on target real well..ill just plug my FTA dish into my dirtv receiver and see what happens. Thanks for the replies guys.

    Yes...I realize that to see anything I will connect it to my dirtv receiver.....but I shouldn't expect to see any quality at all on my fta setup? Just to tweak the aiming?

    WHen I first scanned it in a while back it came in with good video and spotty audio but a recent rescan last week seemed to do the trick and now both are good. I didn't look at the numbers associated with the channel so I don;t know what changed but you might try it. :hatsoff:

    Have someone push the button when you tell them to, to move the dish and watch the light on the motor when its fairly dark outside. Report back on the colors you see.
