I upgraded to a Wally from my old VIP 211z. The Wally doesn't recognize the drive having content on it and wants to format the drive. Is there anyway to save the contents of the old drive so the Wally can use it?

I'm getting the 1000 installed this month (maybe) for the HD local channels in Los Angeles. Because there are 3 local channels on 148 I can force Dish to install a second dish. Besides the 3 local channels, is there any advantage to have 148?
