    It does everything the bulky other unit do... It works with ONDemand, PPV and all other Comcast channels. The only thing it doesn't have is the clock led on the front. It does all the same things as the older bulky units. I have one, and it works excellent, I love it.

    That's not what Comcast reported to me... they told me it does use the computer's HD. Comcast tech support told me that my DCT3412 would utilize the hard drive of my PC when using the IEEE 1394. Hmmm... well just have to try it out and see how it goes.
