Sorry, can't help you with the DVBWorld 2104D. Have been using a DVBWorld 2104C on Windows 7 for quite a while. (using 'Device Manager', it displays: 'Driver Date 4/23/2010' and 'Driver Version 3.0.0.1')

Comes in fine here (3920 on SES2 @ 87W). Using DVBViewer with a Prof 7500, using LAV codecs for h.264 video and for AAC audio. As Trip told you, it is probably a codec issue, &/or MyTheatre.

I still use AltDVB once in a while. There is a bda driver for it out there, and it does work on DVB-S2. Sichbo is free (no recording function unless you make donation), but haven't tried it. DVBViewer is popular and relatively inexpensive. And once you pay for it, can get TransEdit for free.

Well Dee_Ann, if you've tried all the settings in MyTheatre (including crackt's suggestion), I would have to ask if your problem exists on both the pc monitor and the TV, or just the TV?

Did you try the Prof 7500 with the polarotor/lnb? You should have been able to tune into one of the DVB signals if you did. I would try tuning C band with the dmx741u. Try just one transponder (3820-V-26000 on G16 is always up and has a strong signal). You may have to rotate the dmx741u to...

There should be settings in both MyTheatre and the video codec for screen size of the displayed picture. Right click on the picture and see what options are available. There should be something like 'video settings', ''view', 'options' or 'directshow filters'. DirectShow filters or codecs...

The fact that it works without any switch indicates the 2104D is working properly. Using a computer card (USB one included) can be a crap shoot with switches, and using a bda driver just throws another wrench in the mix. And on top of that different software (the DVB program) is another factor...

You 'checked' the switch, but have you tried it without the switch?

What I do (with a 2104C) is scan a transponder with no signal, the scan window closes on its own, reopen it, and then I'm able to access the sat config parameters again.

Which drivers are you using? The WDM drivers were flaky for me (didn't work more often than did).

I couldn't find where to turn it on/off in DVBViewer either, so guess you'll have to wait for someone more familiar with it. You can check the output for power with a short piece of coax and a cheap DMM, and see if it is sending 13/18VDC.
