    Update: I finally got IO today. The install went smooth and the Tech made sure that I had a strong signal. So far I'm impressed with the HD PQ and have no regrets abouting switcing from Direct TV. I get a lot more HD channels along with other great benefits (Cable Modem, VOIP, HD DVR)...

    dishrich - Mask HD should have read "MSG HD". It was accidentally changed during spell check. PS....This deal is available to satellite customers only and will cover up to $200 in breakage fees with your current salellite provider.....I belive this deal may have expired on July 31.

    NLK - Mask = "MSG HD" the spell check changed it to MASK. GNR & NLK - The HD box that I'm getting is the 8300 HD DVR. This supports HDMI and read that the PQ is much better than the HD 4200....Any thoughts? Thanks

    Who's Satisfied with DirectvHD???

    I also had Voom had encountered the same problems as you. I switched to Directv HD and I am very satisfied with them. The HD content is less but without all the headaches you get from Voom.

    I had Voom but cancelled because I was having a lot of problems with the Motorola boxes and reception. In fact, Voom had to replace my box three times. There's no doubt that Voom has more HD content but if your having service problems then whats the point? I know have D* HD and I love it...

    I installed a DIPLEXER in order to receive sat and Digital OTA on one line. Here's my question? Do I need another DIPLEXER to split the line to the Hughes HTL-HD receiver (SAT & OTA)? Can I use a regular splitter to do this? Please advise. Thanks
