    Best mesh network?

I've had the Amplify HD with two mesh point system in place for about a month. It replaced a AirPort Extreme and one airport express extender. Overall much better wifi coverage now in 2,000 sf home plus outside pool/yard areas. Airport has a stronger wifi signal close to it but Amplifi much...

Questions on Hopper with sling and Dish Anywhere

You are correct that would be an easier alternative for my computer room and I thank you for the suggestion. I'm curious if my proposed setup would work effectively as I have another occasionally used TV in our bedroom that might be a better candidate for the iPad mirroring?

    Receivers

The main reasons I'm thinking about the upgrade, as the posters have mentioned, are the sling adaptor capability and secondarily a larger internal hard drive. The ability to use an EHD make the larger drive in the 722 a nice feature but not a necessity.

    Receivers

Thank you for moving my post to the correct place Iceberg. I don't think the hopper would work for me. I usually watch something different on the SD feed in the computer room when my wife is watching one of her shows. I might see if Dish will let me trade the 622 for a 722 without a new...

    Receivers

Long time Dish customer and not under contract. I have a 622 as the primary receiver in the family room. Use the 622's SD second feed for a small HD TV in the computer room. The family and computer rooms share a common wall so the SD cable run is very easy. I like this setup and the SD picture...

I'm waiting for OTA. My old 622 is still running well and still suits our needs for the time being.
