well the dark issue seems to be fixed with the software update. And from my poll, most people like the picture quality. $199 is still cheap for a HD receiver. And dishnetwork has some of the lowest fees for service compared with Direct TV. especially if you have the dual tuner tivo units...

When you are using modulation and set the channel for TV #2, do some channels work better than the others (quality of picture and sound)? Or are they all the same? Is their a difference in using "cable" vs "air" mode?
