    There are 2 ways. First off, which SWM do you have? You'll either have 4 lines coming from dish into a switch or 1 line going into a splitter to figure it out if your not sure by the top of your head.

    Or how about this, pick a dvr that you dont often use to record and change channels and change it to a single tuner dvr. that would eliminate extra equipment, extra wire, and your able to add the 5th reciever and still only use 8 tuners altogether without disrupting a dvr.

    yup, 8 tuners is all can do on 1 swm unless you put up a second dish. There are other ways to expand it but it will involve alot of wiring and switches plus modules.

    I'm in Jax too and had the same problem til I realized my dish got bumped since I put it in ( on a pole- damn landscraper! ). Definetly check the signal on the 103c/a and 99c/a. If your in the 80s than you need an adjustment.

    Depending on your market and apt complex MDU, you may be limited on channel availability and room capability. Other then that, you should be fine as long as their system is being properly maintained.
