Can one get Speed TV on the free to air set ups?

I am probably south of you I am in a deep fringe area in the south. So I think DTV has messes with transponders. PPV I was not getting are now back on, but other are now off? Still getting the locals etc. but only western feeds. I pay for locals in addition to the basic Plus. :confused:

Tnx I assumed this was the case. I think DTV may be shifting some transpionders to spot beams. Apparantly if I increase dish to 12' form teh 6' I may regain some of these weaker ones. But can not find such a dish here < $2.5K

reply Yes traveling south and seems many transponders are now going out on 101. Perhaps moving to spot beams to only deep in CONUS? Dish is 6' with Invacom LNB.

I have a spare Channel Master dish, about 2 meters tall and 1.5 wide that initially was used for Directway (now Hughes net) Internet conenction. This is an off-set focus and not a round dish. Can I use that to aim at a differtn DTV TV bird to help with misisng channels on my 6' metal TV dish?
