Have you tried rescanning for channels with the AMP boost off. Amps cause problems locking on to channels.

Using an original SG2100 to its limits. Still works but don't know for how long. Going to upgrade the motor as soon as possible to a metal gear version. As to what i can see.....well all i can say is alot of good stuff:D

Its clear because you are seeing 480p instead of 480i. Thats the beauty of a feed.

Check if you can lock on to 110 or 119 using that same dish. If you cannot get a signal, it might be the coax cable connected to the lnb has gone bad.

Wondering if satcom1 is still testing his primestar dish.

Try to reverse the polarity of your lnbf. It should give you some more channels and transponders. Check out the "Primestar 84E/BSC621-2 LNBF Experiment" thread on this forum. Lots of info and testing listed. I can get most of satmex 5 & 6 with my 39in dish. And alot more with its...

Its alive again I finally reinstalled my 1.2 m dish with a new SG 2100.:cool:

All new SG 2100 have the same problem. Had to reinstall my old SG 2100 because of this problem.

Will the sg 2100 be at zero mark when its aiming at 119?

Thankyou:up So this is the satellite that the motor needs to be aiming at the zero mark? If so that explains why my angles are way off.

Iceberg you were correct about the SG 2100. The issue is the motor elevation bracket. Its too weak to hold its shape. If the dish weights more than 35 lbs it will destroy the bracket.:confused: It will also destroy the joint that holds the arm to the motor.:eek: So let this be a warning...

Looks like I am going to reinstall my earlier dish. The Prodelin fiberglass dish is weaker in the ku department. Going to make the Prodelin 1130 dish a C band only dish.:)

Should be getting high 90s with that size of dish. My motorized dish is just about the same size. Check lnb bracket. If the bracket is made of metal it could be bent at the wrong angle.

Check your coax cable connections if they are not loose. I had the same problem before and it was the coax connection behind the receiver.

Was lucky:D I have a friend who bought a gas station which was a shell station. Almost all shell stations in LA has this same dish. The exact size of this dish is 61 in tall and 49 1/2 in wide. Very strange:confused:

Finally installed the Prodelin 1130 series 1.2 m dish and I am very happy with its performance.:D Very strong reception of C band & Ku. Also motorized with my existing SG 2100 H to H motor. Heres the pics

Going to attempt to attach this dish to my sg 2100. Should work fine as long as everything is balanced correctly.:cool: Will see what improvements it has over my 39 in aluminum dish. Prodelin 1130 series. VS my aluminum 39 in dish.

Picture is just a sample. Same dish but not my roof. Will post when I get to install the dish. Will be upgrading current dish with this one.
