Right now the masses don't really care. Once larger 4K TV's drop under $1,000 then regular people (not us:raspberry) will pay attention. Just too early right now, but I am glad work is being done now.

I've wondered that myself, but also wouldn't care if it changed. So long as I continue to receive the channel.

Since this thread is about new HD channels, I feel it's the right place to ask about GAC going HD? They officially went HD in late 2013/early 2014. Any word on when DTV customers will get the HD feed?

Just saw a tweet from UF saying that DIRECTV customers can now access SEC Network+ on the WatchESPN app. I tried it and YUP! DIRECTV is now listed. Awesome Sauce! I'm logged in and watching now! ps. sorry for image size.

I really don't care if they add the WatchESPN app to receivers. I just want access to the service period. I can load the app on my iPad then AirPlay to AppleTV. But first I need to be able to log in to the service. HURRY UP DIRECTV!

This is the first I've heard of an AMC/DTV dispute. I haven't watched that channel in months (if not years). So if AMC disappeared from my lineup I wouldn't notice.

Why are the DIRECTV commericals louder then all the others? Whether it's a Rob Lowe ad, DTV Cinema, or any other DTV commercial, they're always so much louder then all the other ones. Why is this?
