Thanks .. that welcome pack may be what I do .. I'm not under contract btw ... So 15 bucks plus my rec and dvr fees and I can still have the locals .. not bad .. Don't really want to shut the acct completley down
I've heard you can put service on hold . What is the total cost ? Will I still have to pay all the fees associated with DVR/2nd rec. etc ? Also, will my DVR still be able to receive the local channels through my antenna ? or recorded programs ? I will probably only be home for about 2 days a...
Does that 211 have multiple HD outputs ? Been a couple of years since I've messed with one.
It would depend on the distance from your bedroom to porch, but you could do what I did with my 722.I ran the main tv off of HDMI and a tv on front porch through component cables.I picked up a 50ft set...
I saw the article with the 3.95 price demand .. Does anyone know what price DTV settled on ?
Curious because I'm waiting for either DTV or Dish to add CSN for Houston ..I've heard rumor that they were asking somewhere between 3-4$. I just don't see either picking up Houston at those kind of prices.
Jason,
Could you give me any info on CSN for Houston Rockets/Astros ?
Hopefully they are close to making a deal ?
I've heard DTV and Comcast are close, would hate to jump ship, but I'm sick of watching games on crappy streams
I'm not under contract so not a concern.Looks like most of the stuff I watch is on the 120 pack, unfortunately.I may hold out a week or two to see if they can strike a deal with Comcast for the Houston sports.
I wish they would finally make an HD only pack.
Thanks for the help guy's
Thanks in advance for any help
I currently have top200 with HD and locals.
I am looking for options to save some money on my bill.Dish is not carrying my local NBA team,my only option is NBA league pass/broadband.
So my questions basically concerns what might be the lowest package I can...
The Houston Rockets are partnered with Comcast,so it's not just a situation where CCast owns the rights's to air the game's.A huge portion of the fan base is currently not able to get the game's.Hopefully the Rocket's organization will put pressure on CCast to offer reasonable rates.
... but my original post also mentioned AMC.It doesn't make much sense to pay a premium price for a service that no longer carries the programming I watch. It's not a "big threat" lol ...who am I threatening ? I was just hoping for a bit of info ...thanks anyway.I don't want to drop Dish, kind of...
You said "stop waiting and switch" like maybe you had some kind of inside info ? Guess not .
I know who currently carries it and unfortunately none of those are available to me.
Does anyone here have any info on Dish adding this station to the lineup ? With the NBA season starting soon, really hope this is something that's in serious negotiation.
I'm already upset over the AMC issue. If I can no longer watch my local team,I'll be looking for a new provider after about 15...
No .. not if you want to have all 5 orbitals. Is there something you need on 61.5 thats not on 118.7 ? You can bring in all 5 but it would take a 44 with the right setup.
!sadroll
The job does have good points but overall just plain sucks... it's not uncommon that I get scheduled 4 AM jobs with about 250 miles drive time...just makes for a really bad day..or the 4 pm day when nobody is available early.
Well thats gonna happen pretty much with any large company.
I've had my 722 with ethernet for about a year and have had zero problems.I would guess it has something to do with your ip address being static or dynamic.
You didn't mention anything about signal loss before. If you are having problems than your concern is understandable.
I prefer not to install systems that suck.
Good luck
WTF once again ! this thread is ridiculous ... you will see no difference be it east or west ... quit crying because you don't have the latest and greatest .... that will probably turn out not so great ! The signals on the one we did today sucked ....the grass is not always greener.
