I'm looking to upgrade bedroom tv to HD and wanted opinions on going with the one shared HD DVR or keeping my HR 20 in the living room and just adding new HD DVR in the bedroom. Are there storage space issues with sharing a DVR? Any thoughts?

I have one standard Directv dvr that died after 1 1/2. They shipped a new one after tech came by and checked it out. My HD DVR HR20 is 1 1/2 years no problems. My wife and I can't imagine life without DVR's.

Zelda is always great and you get your money out of it. Super Mario Galaxy gets a lot of play at my house.

The Directv video on VOD says the do not recommend wireless internet connections. Are most using VOD directly wired to DSL, using wireless or using the Directv kits? Thanks.

Are you using a signal splitter with the satellite and an OTA attenna? An OTA attenna has to have it's own line now.

$150 is tops for me. From there I begin cutting back. Premiums would go first, then sports pack.

Sports and HD are made fore each other. Football in HD spoils you and is hard to watch any other way.

My OTA locals disappeared today and were replaced by another cities locals. I reset my OTA and re-scanned, but New Mexico OTA locals are still showing on my menu. Some of the selections on the menu still work, but some say searching for signal. Any ideas?

Do you have any splitters/diplexers on your lines? You may already know this, but that's what my problem was. Tech came out and ran a new line for my OTA and everything is fine. You have to have seperate lines with no splitters/diplexers.

I think its worth having an OTA connection. If bad weather hits and you lose the satellite you can view your OTA channels. If you connect to your HR-20 you can scan them in and use your guide to view them and not have to change inputs. I vote yes.

I took mine off tonight and it's working great. Tech is coming Saturday to run new cable just for OTA.

Signal strengths look good. I have an OTA with a splitter, from other posts that seems to be a potential problem. If that's the case, if I disconnect my air OTA cable outside from the splitter shouldn't I be able to test this?

HR20-700 in OKC. Getting some channels and searching for signal 771 on others. Then they'll switch back and forth to the ones I got I don't get and vice versa. While other times I've been able to get all the channels. I have rebooted and refreshed on the website and it hasn't help. Calling...

I have a Sony LCD SXRD 55". It'd down in price since I purchased and I have been very happy with it.

I'm in OKC with HR20-700. Does it make sense that 498 sometimes come on with the congrats page and sometimes says Searching for Sat? I'm getting 9301, but 9300 is Searching for Sat.

Not getting 9300 in OKC. 9301 is good.
