    (edit:Title should say upscaled SD) If you're connected with HDMI, TV always says 1920x1080i for both HD and SD channels. How do you make sure the content is actual HD and not upscaled SD? For those with smaller HDTV sets where it isn't obvious?

    I gave up and bought an HD-DVD with a working HDMI. The extra $20/month will get me the top plan at a rental place. I really wanted the 722, but sounds like it's endless phone calls. No first generation hardware(622) for me. Keep posting. If the problems go away, I'll bite in the future.

    I had the installer show up with a 622 and not give a new appointment date. I was not happy about it. I complained and cancelled the order. You can't pick your installer. If there's no receivers, they shouldn't schedule the appointment.

    I ended up cancelling the upgrade because it'd be another week to reschedule. The CSR said I wouldn't get a full refund and would be charged $99 for the service call(where they came out unprepared). After many more calls, I got someone reasonable who refunded the full fee for the 722...

    I paid extra for 722. The installer showed up with no 722 and tried to install 622 saying it "was almost the same". Sent them away. CSR said I need to reschedule.:confused:
