I have an owned 722 without getting 129.

I didn't turn it on yesterday, but my 722 was locked up on the screen saver today.

Well, I'm not in PR, but I am in AK. When my 6000 cooked, and my local guy wanted too much $$$, I ended up ordering a 722 from Claude at the dishstore from the ad above. He shipped it, and I had no problems activating it with dish on the phone.

Took me a few minutes to figure out why it unexpectedly recorded an hour of espn news with no sign of it in the schedule. Of course it was my timer on Bravo that no longer exits. :confused: Then I saw your thread here :(

I still have the old channels and am getting the new 110 channels. Still haven't moved my 148 dish to 129 and using a sw64.

IIRC: There are several threads on legacy equipment used with vip no longer working on 129 after a check switch is performed (since feb?). One post mentioned this has been fixed on the 222 and the others need to wait for new software download. I use a sw64 with my 722 and haven't bothered...

So things are ok with your sw64 on 129? I don't know when I will be able to take care of my tree issue to move my 148 dish to 129, but may need to make it a higher priority if my equipment is actually going to work.

I have a 148 dish I can move after cutting a tree, but I saw the other thread that said 129 legacy problems. I am using a sw64 with a 722, am out of luck for now? :confused:

Looks promising with fairbanks listed. I am gonna need to cut down at least one big tree to swing my 148 dish around to 129. Maybe another lower on the hill depending how low the angle turns out to be. That area is inaccessible until sometime in April. Sooooooon!

Food and Hist are at the top of my list.

Takes awhile, but faster than waiting until tomorrow for them to show. Gotta see all those shows you don't want to watch. Changed over some of my travel timers.

If you run the check switch and force the guide download all the "info" will be there.

As an owner of a 722, I think this thread has been very informative. Most people lease and will not have an issue with dish's conversion of subscribers' receivers, but there are some of us who might have a big issue with this. For myself, I am not worried about it until it becomes an actual...

But, the issue is Available vs. actually Activated for our packages. :confused:

Thanks, hadn't seen that either. I saw the scifi and usa post to know to go look for them, now I will have to keep a look out here for when soon happens for these channels. I wish food would have been included. It has the worst pq of the channels I regularly watch. All the chopping, stirring...
