    If you cancel it within a year from signing up they charge you the fee. I'm sure they will waive it and the monthly fee if you ask and state you never wanted it.

    It takes my HD-DVR 7-10 days to download all the info after the data is lost. I bet if you give it a few days more and more data will become available. I would select a program a week out on the guide, make note of what info is available and come back the next day.

    I have this message too, it just means your locals are moving from the 72 satellite and you will need MPEG 4 equipment (HD boxes) and a dish that can pull in the right satellite. If you have HD now AND all your boxes are HD (even if the tv is not) you are good to go.

    Awe, you forget that D* is a business. While they may not make money lots of money off the PPV, the alternative is to PAY money to provide an HD feed. The cost of adding the HD channels at this point won't be offset by subscribers coming to D* or by sups not leaving because of the HD adds.
