Funny you mention JIP. I have the MLB Extra Innings package and the number of channels defined/available for MLBEI was 15... has been all season. In the last few days, I think Sunday night/Monday am, this has changed and there are now 25 channels, all with HD available and no JIP in the menu...

don't forget about espn3 on espn.com to watch most sporting events.

You would "hope" Dish would be more forthcoming and proactive; they should know who does not have 129 or 72.7 with HD... yes, I know, this is Dish!

I actually went through my Favorites list and all but 5 or 6 channels are now in HD - AT250. Sorry for those with 61.5...

I am "foolishly" hoping when ESPNU on 148 goes away next Wednesday, Nov-4, that they flip the HD switch on 141 at the same time. Yes, probably very foolish, hopefully, stupic, etc... thinking...

For the Stars, it appears to be home HD broadcasts although I missed Monday nights game vs LAKings. But, the 14th and 16th were Home HD and blacked out while the 17th at CHI was in SD only (on an alternate ch 448 due to FSN HD CFB) and last night's road game vs Anaheim was in HD. TOR on Oct-28...

The first live CFB game in of the season on ESPNU is Thursday, Sept-3. Maybe the Wednesday, Sept-2 uplink... maybe.

Well, to HDRoberts comment, they did not activate 61.5 for the 8 new HDPPV so maybe some combo of 61.5/110 for new national HD. Hey, desperate times call for desperate thinking (hoping)! :eek:

I may have missed this, but wanted to put this out. I am in the DFW area and have 211 boxes with the HD Absolute package (or whatever it is called). I was checking all channells last night and noticed 5 channels in the 6401 - 6406 range, excluding 6405. The EPG had them listed as ESPN, TNT...

I think Dish "fell forward" this past weekend (instead of "fall back")!! :D

Hey Scott, have you heard ANY rumors re: new Dish HD... anything? I seem to recall rumors that there would be some new HD late in August or early in September... even a small bone?! :confused:

You can try having your spouse request service, using a different credit card. Might work.
