    Chiefs bears game pixilating..network feed?

Is anyone else seeing this? Every 5 to 50 seconds the picture pixelates on both hd and sd channels. this is in the omaha dma and I haven't seen it happen during commercial breaks. my signals are strong both hd (129) and sd (110) I think its a network or local uplink issue this game is...

    211 and hybrid lnb?

One of the dealers I work for wants hook up a 211k to a hybrid lnb (port 2). will it work? They tried a switch test with and got "38" results. That receiver has been sitting for more then 6 months (no new software), could that be the problem or is it just not compatible?

    Hopper Grounding ... Cheater Plug

Your installer is being "pro active" he has learned his lesson before. I have an extremely low tc rate, but some time things are beyond my control, like how a house is wired. Having all the components on a plug strip, feeding the ground back through the coax to the grounded node or ground...

    Dish Satellite Channel Feed Question

Dish puts the local networks (ABC, CBS, NBC & FOX) on the same satellite for each market, in fact they are on the same transponder (this allows the hopper to record all 4 using just one tuner, a feature known as prime time any time) At the bottom of the page you will find "the list!" it has...

    1000.2 WA Dish Question

This is frustrating. If I was there with my meter I could diagnose the problem and point your dish in a matter of minutes. Something strange is going on here and I have seen almost every thing I can think of suggested already. Do you still have the old dish? If so see if you can use that to...

    1000.2 WA Dish Question

Not that I think it part of your problem pointing the dish but those leftover nuts and bolts go in the skew-plate ...its not critical but it firms it all up with 4 in there

    1000.2 WA Dish Question

    1000.2 WA Dish Question

sorry I guess I wasn't clear on that. If your trying to get a reading from the 119, momentarily select 110 and then back to 119 What this does is send a signal to the lnb to "switch" to the 119 (just in case its "stuck" on the wrong sat). re run the switch test when you think you got it...

    1000.2 WA Dish Question

sodly is correct; you are (were) 10 degrees off (about the with of your fist at arms length) and depending on where you are in the country 1 or 2 "ticks" off on the elevation Since the satellites are roughly separated by 10 degrees it it possible to hit 2 out of 3 with the third pointed off onto...

I have pointed thousands of dishes over the last 8 years with a birdog meter and even I don't know what the br bl dn "prefixes" mean. I just use the ones that work and for a dish pro 1000.2 w lnb I use dishpro 110 dishpro 119 and br dishnet 129 LNB (s) like the 1000.2 w have the switch built in...

    Dish network Western Satellites...?

    Apartment installation-1st floor (new customer)

Pic 4 looks like how I would do it (except you have reverse floor plan) but I wouldn't skimp on the blocks. Here is another tip, take a marker or tape and mark the corners of the mount on the patio so you could realign it if it gets moved.

    Apartment installation-1st floor (new customer)

I assume you have a "standard" letter from the apartment management on installation rules . They all pretty much read the same and I have found that if you take the time to go and talk to them, you may find that they will allow more then what the letter states. Just because you see other dishes...

So how many watts does Dish hardware use?

Now don't forget that the heat given off by any equipment helps to warm your house which would save energy during heating season (furnace wouldn't have to work as hard) and cost you more during cooling season. And now we are really splitting hairs.
