Thanks for the replies. The HD seemed fine for the Blackhawks/Flames game, but throughout the Wings game it looked like was mentioned above...sort of a squeezed HD picture. It definitely looked unusual. We're watching from central PA.

I was just browsing through the NHL Center ICE schedule for October on DirecTV's website and the number of games listed in HD seems minimal, less than half. With all the additions of RSNs in HD, I was hoping for nearly all Center ICE games to be in HD this year. Does anyone know if the HD...

Thanks for the feedback and explanation. Since DirecTV advertises providing you your regional sports network, then they should include those that are home markets per the teams and not put them in another tier. Oh well, that's just me venting :(.

It's 17038. We would get FSP as a second regional network if we subscribed to the sports pack but we don't.

Not looking to hijack the thread but we've seen odd things on our progam guide the last 2 days also. The times are way off. For example, instead of showing 7 PM right now it's showing 2 AM.

Penguins games on NHL Network are blacked out for us when they're on FSP even though FSP isn't our regional network and we don't get the sports pack. Phone calls have said it will be corrected and it hasn't. Emails get canned responses. Same pitiful service we left Dish Network for.

Thanks for checking that out! We don't subscribe to the sports pack or Premiere, so we don't get FSP which is what was confusing when we saw NHL Network blacked out. It happened earlier in the season and we didn't think much of it but now with it happening again...

Not to sound mean...but if you are a CSR you're either lying or as clueless as everyone we've talked to for over 2 years regarding HD LIL. Dish has told us we would have them within a couple months for over 2 years and they've been available and up on DirecTV.

Unfortunately, DISH made it easy for us to decide to switch. We've been told for 2 years that we would have locals in HD "within a couple months" and it still hasn't happened. Besides some customer service issues, this is what sealed our decision to switch.
