    Will a usb splitter work with the ports on the back of the Hopper? I have a wireless adapter plugged into one and my sling hooked into the other leaving no place to plug in my EHD except the front and that looks terrible.

    I had a similar issue and had to change from a D-Link router to a netgear n600 and the problem was solved.

    Hopper Q&A and Install Tips

    Installers were here for 3 hours trying to link Joey's to Hopper. They hooked up the Joey's too soon and didn't want to believe that the Joey's would never see the hopper. I showed them the install tips and then I sent their boss a hyper link to satellite guys so they could learn from the best.

    What happens if you live in an area where the locals are in SD. I'm sure I'll have to "move" back for he install. (Answer by Scott - The Prime Time Anytime feature only works in markets where HD locals are available via Satellite.)

    I have a dish 1000 at least that's what it says on the dish. It has 3 eyes I think those are called LNB's right. I get 40-50 on 129 set to transponder 4. The 2 recievers are the VIP 722 and the VIP612.

    I have 2 HD recievers and the yuma locals but they are in sd only. Can recieve Fox and ABC over an antenna in HD but no CBS. Also the locals are very poor quality.

    I tried to "move" to Los Angeles but was told I would have to have a 2nd dish installed and my receivers reprogrammed. Is this correct? If so where can I move to get all the west coast networks in HD? I live in Southern Cal on the Mexico border and can only get the networks in SD.
