I used to use my Sony Bluray player to access Netflix, but it didn't work the greatest. I purchased an Apple TV and the Netflix app on the Apple TV works fantastic! The video quality is excellent and playback doesn't stop all the time like it did with my Bluray player.

I have two HR20-100 DVRs networked together without DECA. I was using it during the beta period and when that ended I emailed DirecTV they enabled it on my account for no cost.

I don't believe that capability exists, yet. I'm hoping DirecTV adds this ability soon because it would be handy to manage recordings on other DVRs!

Sunday Ticket is only for games on Sunday afternoon. If a game is broadcast on your local channel you will have to watch it on that channel, and not on a Sunday Ticket channel. The NFL sets the rules and DirecTV has to follow them and it's not DirecTV's fault.

I believe any activation of a HD receiver or DVR will get you a 2 year commitment, owned or leased.

I believe the installation of internet server to the receivers is for video on demand. There is a network connection on the back of the receiver. You just have to plug in the network cable and if you router is configured to run dhcp already your receiver should be on the Internet.

I don't an answer for you, but if the Brewers aren't on 669-1, I go to ESPN and press the red button to bring up the score guide and that will list the channel(s) the Brewers are on. I find that's faster and more accurate than the game finder feature.

I think DirecTV should get everyone setup on HD equipment if they sign up for Sunday Ticket. DirecTV should not bother broadcasting Sunday Ticket in SD and save the bandwidth. I would think the number of people with Sunday Ticket and not have HD would be rather small.

I think having an additional charge for MRV would be a mistake. I think it would be a great selling feature to have MRV and not charge an additional amount for it. Personally, I wouldn't pay for MRV and I'll just watch what I recorded on the other DVR on that TV.

I'm in the same boat as you two. With the free MLB EI this week I'm able to watch the game on the MLB Game Mix channel. I'd rather see it fullscreen, but it's better than nothing. Our local paper was listing this game as available on MLB Network, but that channel is blacked out also.

I use PlayOn 2.59.3357.28233 with my HR20-100 all time. I haven't had any issue with the software.
