A) If you want a second reciever hooked up, you will need a second line from the dish, no execptions.
B) You will need a second line to the room with your cable internet, trying to share the line will give you more problems with your internet than you will want.

I got mine this morning, didn't notice I had it until rec locked up, and I rebooted, then it wouldn't get signal, so I checked software...sure enough, there it was, 4.49, after a few reboots I got it going though.
