I’m thinking very seriously of dumping Spectrum Cable for Dish. And like everyone else want to save money. Would I get a better deal by signing up using their website or calling them up. Or are the package prices set in stone? Thank you.

I live in Charlotte, and although I'm with TWC, had the same problem with "Chuck", the screen going black every so often. So, that at least, is not a problem with your satellite.

I'm over on the cable TV side, TWC, switched out my hdmi for component cables a few weeks ago. I definetly notice a more vibrant picture with better color saturation with the component cables.

As someone who is a cable customer, (months ago an attempt to get E was unsuccessful to to LOS issues), I certainly hope the cable can deliver on that prediction!

The TNTHD Chicago/Orlando game looked crappy on TWC as well. The PQ was noticeably better on the 2nd game with Sacramento.

Nor are they with TWC. But you have more HDTV channels then we do.

Thas is a very good point and I'm glad you reminded me of it. I live in apartment and use a Zenith Silver Sensor indoor antenna and pick up my locals, both SD and HD, just fine. In fact, for some reason, I can pick up the PBS HD station out of Rock Hill, where you live, whereas I can't pick it...

Thank you for your replies. They were very helpful! Tonight, was an example of why I want to ditch TWC. Got home around 5:30 and my cable was out, certainly not for the first time, and wasn't restored until about 3 hours later. GRRRRR
