What he is saying is someone probably is "back feeding" a signal which is going to another room in their house but also is tied (fed) to their antenna which in turn acts as a broadcast signal.

If you mean it works just as well with the rg6 hooked up without the antenna being on it, then strip back about 6" on the rg6 and expose the center conductor and see how it does.

Put the signal meter on 119 tx 11 and turn up the tv volume. Try to find the sats. Sounds like you have a dish point problem.

Roll back the first layer of foil and both layers of braid, then put on like a reg connector. Its much tougher to push on though.

If you are using a sig meter try hooking to just 129, peak for sig. May be a skew problem?

Get a 24" dish. Your local retailer should be able to get one for you. I would have used a dish 500 for your 110/119 sats.

Helps with you location, the 1000 is about useless here. We need the 2 dish setup (we use a 24" dish for 129).

Set the 622 output modulator to cable, enable the tuner 1 output. That will automatically put tv1 to ch 75 and tv2 to ch 73. 211 out is ch3. combine with splitter and it will be fine. If crossmod or beats are created, just change the 622 output to different channels.

I would be too, those are excellent #s for 129 especially.

I assume you are reading that off the 301 rx? Dual tuners read lower levels.

Sounds like this was a "new" house that was "prewired" so hard to say without knowing more info, and we shouldn't be so quick to judge a bad job by the installer ?????

I had one where hooking the rx to the power inserter kept having problems, moved rxs to port 2,3,4 P I on port one with no rx and all was fine.

If your tv has a hd tuner you could hook up OTA directly to tv. I've put in a lot of 211s but not one with OTA so haven't heard about this prob. Also suggest calling Dish, the more calls they get the sooner they will work on "that" problem.

TV#1 on the 622 and the 211 output will only do channels 3 or 4. You must be thinking of a 625, 622 is different. You should be fine using the outputs from the 622 and 211 without using additional modulators.
