EHD to PC/DVD Thanks Smith..so what format is the recording saved as? MPeg 4? Mpeg 2? I guess I can unhook the cable and connect the EHD to a PC and see the contents? Just want to make sure doing so will not screw up the DVR and invoke another activation fee :)

Thanks Simon You are RIGHT!. Rechecked the S-Video and saw that one of the pins is bent..For now I straightened it using a screwdriver and reconnected it and the B/W is gone. Thanks for the advice Simon!!

Dish planning to show this series (for the cricket uninitiated, this is akin to the Super Bowl/NBA/NHL finals). Alas, :mad: Dish is ripping us off, charging $250 for this series.
