    Yes..........Directv's default fast forward is 30slip I think.......In the smartsearch search 30skip and it will instantly forward 30 seconds. I hate the 30slip.

    Both my receivers are hooked to phone lines and my receiver doesn't reboot often like some experience. I have never gotten a call from Dish. Maybe its just a random process.

    RGJ4vols I semi-agree with you. And aren't satellite companies competing with cable companies as well. I don't remember having to buy all this equipment to have cable. Maybe I'm wrong; I haven't had cable in forever.

    Its actually worse now somewhat than it was before I had my Dish re-pointed by the third tech support trip. Levibluwa...What do ya think? I really do want to stay with Dish since I have two 622 HD Dvr's and I'm also bundled with my DSL. Just hate the hassle and extra expense of switching.
