My Samsung LN-T4661F also failed the test. The picture did look awesome. Dish tech told me that it is a software issue. She also said that in the HD set up the highest resolution that is displayed is 1080i even though the movie is in 1080p.

Good morning, Does anyone know when Dish will activate the HD locals in Rockford IL.? I have an over the air antenna. The cover blew off. The company that installed it about two years ago wants $125.00 to put it back. The roof is very steep and there is no way I would try and do it myself...

I don't subscribe to HBO, but i still see all the HD channels in my guide. I don't see Starz or Showtime. All I see is one HD channel for each service.

Hey, I resubscribed to dish a few months ago. Since then I lose signal on 129 and 110 on cloudy and/or light rainy days. The signal strength on 129-32, 110-62, 119-75. I have the Dish protection plan, but apparently I still have to pay $29.99 for a tech to come out. I'm assuming that...

I guess I'm not like a lot of you. I cannot watch something just because it's in HD. I enjoy movies and sports. I could care less about pictures of the earth in HD.

I understand. It's just every time I visit the site there is another complaint thread, or what HD channels do you want thread. Can't there be one thread dedicated to E* complaints? Anyway, GO CSN HD and GO CUBS!

I'm ok, I'm ok... Seriously, it just seems that members get on this site and act as though they can demand what they want. This site, and others like it, are very little fish in a big pond. You cannot make demands to a corp like E*. If you don't like it then leave.

If E* hasn't got the message by now they never will. To continue to complain doesn't help the situation. They could wait and add new HD next year, and you will act as though your complaining made a difference. They will add HD when their ready. Obviously, all of these complaint threads have made...

I'm not trying to be rude, but I don't understand the point of this thread and others like it. We are all very frustrated with E*. We all want more HD. This site is becoming nothing more than a place for E* subscribers to complain. I have E*, and I am not happy either, but enough already.

If they are not channels I can get, then there is no new HD.
