Same problem here. I did a check switch test and now it's locked and telling me I need to check one of my sat inputs. Reboot does not help either. Arrg.

I’ve been having a similar problem. It’s not a tin can sound it basically is the subwoofer or bass shutting off, weird. It’s simply fixed by me hitting pause a couple times and the bass is back. It only happens when I'm playing back a recorded show. It's really annoying.

Add me to the Audio cut out problem list via optical. Lame.

I think the HD-lite subject is what pissed of Cuban the last time he was on this site. He didn't want to talk about it.

Do it on a Sat or Sun. In my area they do installs 7 days a week. It's the same deal with any other provider. I just upgraded to the 622 on saturday. 12-5pm window. Guy shows up at 5:45. Nice. HDMI port is DOA, so Dish shipped me a new 622 yesterday and let me install it myself. Very odd.

Read your manual on how to add Local Channels. It's a simple process.

I know to most of the US Surfing seems like a niche sport, kind of like Soccer/futobol. But there are literally 5 million surfers in the US. Anywhere there is coastline, there are surfers. It's actually Austrailia's national sport. It shouldn't be too much to ask to brodcast the world...

Just upgraded to the 622 on Sat. It was the "E" version. And yes the HDMI Port was DOA!! Sux. Called and they're sending me a new 622 Tuesday. Glad I don't have to wait around from 12-5pm for an installer to show at 6pm...waste of a Saturday.

Demand a free upgrade to the 622. No $199 charge to your credit card. That's what I would do.

Maybe dish downloaded bugs to all the 942's to encourage the 622 upgrade?
