The VIP 622 does not have a dual OTA tuner? This could be a deal breaker. I like to record my locals in HD. Does anyone know when Huntsville, AL will have HD on eather D* or E*?

I have had Directv for 4 years. I just noticed today when I looked at my account on Directv's web site this at the bottom of my account "Other Charges and Sports Subscriptions:Annual Commitment ($0.00/2 Years)." Does this mean I am committed to 2 more years.

I just bought a used receiver from ebay. It have a card with it that had been subscribed to by someone already and D* would not activate it and sent me a new card. I had to pay $20.00 for the card they sent me. :(

Changing to a new reciever? I just bought a HD reciever to replace a SD reciever I have in one of my bedrooms. I have tried to call Directv to activate it but keep getting a busy signal. Is there a way to go on line and do this? Sorry for this post. I found the answer in another thread.
