I got 3 HD DVR's about 2 weeks ago as part of a new install and all of them were HR22's.

I personally hope this doesnt happen with D* for the simple fact that I dont trust my roomates to not delete my unviewed recordings and unless a new box is released with a much bigger hard drive Ill stick with each room having their own HR22 with 500gig HD.

I dont wanna start a thread fight in anyway but IN MY PERSONAL experience Dish has been more reliable FOR ME. I had Directv and my HDDVR would freeze needing a reset a few times a day. Others have had no problems with Directv however with Dish Ive had 0 problems with my HD DVR's.

heres a great idea: set your series recording to start 2mins early and 10 mins late

did you just hook it up to the internet? it can take about 10 hours or so to load all the channels. You can see some ondemand but browse by channels come in one at a time until they are all loaded. Give it over night to be safe then I bet youll see everything.
