Never mind, apparently I have to get the home cinema connection thingy. How important is the internet connection? Is it just for VOD? In order to access my DVR from the internet does it have to be connected?

Just got my new Directv setup today. I have 2 H24's and whole home DVR and am trying to hook my ethernet bridge up that I used with dish. I can hook it up and get it connected just fine but then I lose the whole home access. If I disconnect the bridge and reboot the receiver then whole home...
