    I love the HD channels too, and I want to see more of them. But I still heartily applaud this strategy. Voom *has* to have a competitive channel lineup, including SD, to play with the big boys. Besides, now I have my VH1 Classic! :D

    Is that the theory--that Voom's HD DVR is going to be $1000??? Ouch. I suppose I was a bit naive to expect a $5/month lease. Does anyone know if they plan on offering a SD DVR as well?

    Cablevision Enters into Interim Agreement Regarding VOOM

    I've been lurking here a week or two, and my VOOM install is scheduled for this Saturday, the 12th. This announcement is definitely music to my ears. I just hope they really show up on Saturday! Until then, I'm just a wannabe voomer :)
