Just looked at my Voom on-line account and they are charging sales tax. I have Dish and they haven't been charging (I think) sales tax. I live in Arizona... have things changed? John

Sean, The PBS channels were added to the PG for Tucson (85746) but not KGUN (abc) or KVOA (nbc). Is there some status on their inclusion? John

Anyone From Tucson I live near Tucson Arizona and I'm not picking all the locals on my Voom box or my 811. Is anyone else having problems? John

Tucson here....... Digital but no HD.

Oddly enough it was playing at my local Sears on 10/16. However they shut it down a couple of days later because they could not block the "R" rated material. They have it off now and the remote is hidden.

It gets better. I live in Douglas which is 120 miles from Tucson (with some big mountains in between) and I'm getting two of the three rock solid. Nobody believes I am picking up the off air signal. John

I live in Tucson Arizona. Channels 4, 6 and 9 are not on the program guide. Channels 40 and 58 are on the program guide but not signal. Channels 11, 13 and 18 are fine. John

You are absolutely correct. Nothing but demo. But, they are in Beta and things are improving. It is up to the marketplace (us) to tell them what we want and how much we will pay for it. Hopefully... this "start-up" will listen and won't let quality suffer. Every time E* adds more...

Overall their programming is not that great, but I am sure that will change. What was the deciding factor for me is bandwidth. 39 HD channels (all 1080i) one dish pointing in one direction. And I've got 4 more months to make up my mind. By then the 921s will be all over the place and I will...

I don't see that as being a big problem. They are delivering 1080i so they're not cheating on the bandwidth. I think it's just a lack of high quality content, and that will come. John
