Is there even a device available that can take the DVI signal and record it? I was under the impression that the only recording option was Firewire anyway. Doesn't make sense that DVR boxes are coming out, yet copy protection is being enforced on an interface that doesn't even allow copying ???

I had the same problem

For me the PQ is clearly better with voom head to head with the same channels from Comcast. This applies to HD's, Locals, and SD's I cannot speak for any other providers or even other localities with Comcast, but at least for me Voom's PQ is the best I've seen on my tv.

I just checked and espnhd is on my second voom box wonder if my main stb is going screwy earlier today one of the ota's was missing from mapping but came back back after a reboot. Just tried a reboot again and espn hd is still the movie channel hd time to reset?
