It is true. I was with them before, and I committed to 2 years in order to get all the new sub equipment and spiffs. I don't regret it one bit. PQ is kicking Voom's ass, got the 942 for $249, the 811, the $100 fee waived for 2nd dish, and all the programming deals. -k

I am hooking up to 3 tvs. The 942 dual tuner is my "main" box, so they said there would be no monthly fees on it. It serves as a box for 2 different tvs. There will be a $5 monthly fee on the one other box that I will need, and I think there will be the monthly DVR fee. -k

I think you would be surprised what they would offer you if you called to tell them you were looking for a new provider. (As long as you were with them for a while last time) I was with them for about 7 years before going to v*, so they know I am a good bet to stay on until they make money on...
