They were added to the spot beam on Ciel-2 yesterday, but there was no announcment concerning them on the Twitter HDTuesday thing yesterday. If the Roanoke HD Locals go live today, I will be very pleasantly surprised, especially since Lost is on tonight.

That's what they told me about the Roanoke/Lynchburg HD Locals, too.

10 years ago lightening took out my Direct Receiver and they wanted to charge full retail to replace it. I cancelled the account instead. Two years later they were *still* billing me, even after I was told numerous times that the account would be closed and I wouldn't have to pay anything...

I actually went to the trouble of checking if D* had the Roanoke HD locals today, even though I hate that company worse than Comcast. They don't. Guess I'll stay with dish a while longer.

Same here. AEP plus platinum HD. See FXNWS HD in red, no FOXB HD in guide at all. I'm hoping this will be fixed tomorrow/wednesday, cause I'd really like to be able to watch Dave Ramsey in HD.

I have AEP + HD. I can't see having to *downgrade* to Gold HD to get Fox Business HD. Yet, I don't see Fox Business HD in my guide *at all*. Not even in red.

I'm betting their HD versions of the telemarketing channels. QVC-HD, HSN-HD, TJC-HD, etc.

I managed to catch "Weather on the 8's" on the HD version of TWC. It appears to be full HD, with much better graphics than the SD version. Actually quite nice to look at.

I don't have a problem with people getting their locals in HD. What I have a bit of a problem with is large cities, who already have very good over the air HD service, getting locals in HD before those of us who live in mountainous rural areas where reliably picking up *any* kind of signal over...
