That's seems like that's all they need to do. Its anybody's guess as to why they don't. Dont let the fact that its the largest DMA that doesn't nave HD locals and the fact that DirectTV has had them for quite a while now make it urgent in anyway.

I don't claim to know how any of it works. I was just simply wondering why it could be taking so long or if the delay is normal. I think I may have found the problem though. I dont know a lot about this STELLA bill that passed, but from what little Ive seen it seems that new DMAs are required...

Oh they have been uplinked, they're just not "on" yet. No telling whats taking so long.

So I see the Wichita have been uplinked, but alas its now June 15th and I still don't have them and see no projected time frame to get them. Is there an average time from uplink to when they actually can turn on the channel or does it vary? Is there a reason for the perceived delay?
