I know you guys are going to get a laugh out of this, but there's a place called Hobe's Grille located in Pikeville, KY that has great double bacon cheeseburgers - and it's in the 1st floor of Pikeville Medical Center. Gives new meaning to "hospital food". BTW, the burger was about $4

What Spices are in your Cabnet?

If you can't find Kosher Salt or don't need a big box for the occasional "fish fry", you can also use Margurita(sp) Salt in place of Kosher Salt.

What Spices are in your Cabnet?

For those of us who are too lazy to peel potatoes, there's the old instant potatos on standby in the store. The thing is, there are seasoned instant potatoes also. Just trying to decide what flavor to get and what gravy to use with them can be just as confusing as what wine goes with what...

    4 can goulash

OK people, update! I tried this with Campbell's Chunky Chili and Chunky Vegtable Beef in place of the Hormel Chili and regular sized cans of vegtable soup w/ beef stock. Just as good, just use the mild chili.

    Sandwiches and Spreads

I was looking through my late mother's cookbooks, when I found a list of finger sandwiches and spreads that a friend of hers had listed. Some of you might think the recipies are "prissy" or unusual, but I also have some of my own comments about this. WARNING : EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK...
