    Atlanta Area Voomer

I first had the Stealth antenna and received all the mapped stations (this was prior to scanning) except Fox (it was intermittent) and PAX. I live right next door in Roswell. I did get an antenna upgrade and Fox is still iffy sometimes.

Voom in Atlanta - WSB OTA Problems?

OTA over the weekend in Roswell I had trouble with both WSB and WGCL this weekend. I live in Roswell off of Holcomb Bridge.

I have the same issues with FOX during quiet weather like today, but when it is windy I have the issue on all channels. I think it's because of multipathing in my case. My antenna is pointed into the woods behind my house and I think when the trees start swaying all bets are off. I live...

What are the chances this will work?

Where do you live? That makes a great difference as far as elevation goes. It's 11 degrees on the West Coast for 44 degrees for me near Atlanta. Also, you said these were two story apartments. How much distance between the two buildings?

    Atlanta Area Voomer

I'm in Roswell off of Holcomb Bridge and I get both 17-1 and 17-2 without any problems. I don't get PAX (it's in a completely different direction). My only OTA problem is that FOX is sometimes flaky.

    Wineguard OTA

According to other threads and my installer the STB supplies the power for the antenna.

Voom Install on 6/7 and WORRIED!

I would do a double check myself. Use this utility to determine your LOS, and a compass and a protractor to get a fairly accurate picture of where your LOS is. I had to have a 2nd installer out to get installed. I'm surrounded by 200+ year old oak trees, but in my zip (30076) the elevation is...

    Atlanta Area Voomer

Charter couldn't get their piddly HD offerings right for me. I worked with them for 4 months before I finally gave up. My experience with Voom is wonderful in comparison.

5 is my weakest channel. It will play around in the mid sixties, then drop to 0 for a second or two then back up to the mid sixties. All others are fairly stable except PAX which is in a totally different direction. Someone mentioned the PBS channels earlier, and according to antennaweb...

    Atlanta Area Voomer

Roswell Voomer Hi, I have been Vooming in the Roswell Area (Martin's Landing) for about 2 weeks. I was a Charter customer but finally gave up on them getting the HDTV right. I never did get a satisfactory signal. I'm very happy with Voom so far. I had a little trouble with Installs Inc...
