I know this is an older thread, BUT Bell is now sending out 6500 receivers to replace the SD receivers as they will be shutting down all the SD channels sometime around April or so. I suspect they will shut down due to sell the space on the older SD bird.

Not true... Bell TV does this all the time for Hockey & CFL games. Blackouts exist all the time for specific areas. Only takes two channels. One blacked out in TO and one for everyone else. Bell TV does it really funcky on some games channel "A" blackout the local game in TO, game "B"...
