    The mad rush to other services is based on many things for me and OTA does not cut it. My son wants cartoons. I want sports (MLB, the NFL when it kicks up, and the NHL if they ever play again) My girlfriend wants her channels. There are many more reasons but I think you get the idea...

    Yes it has been fun! I have really enjoyed VOOM and wish they could have survived! I think the original price of the equipment was a turn off to most, then once the price of equipment came down the lack of cable (SD) favorite channels killed them. If VOOM would have started as they sit right now...

    Ahhhhhhh.... He did not force you to buy the box AND VOOM did offer to credit accounts for us who purchased it. You had the chance to convert to rental mode and receive a credit. I did not take it so I am stuck with a paper weight but I am NOT blaming Dolan or VOOM.

    I went to COX cable today and picked up my boxes. I got the HD DVR and another regular box for the munchkins TV. I went out and hooked up my old cables this morning and unhooked all the VOOM stuff. I am now on cable and reduced to 10 HD channels. I sure will miss TNTHD, UHD, GUNSLINGERS...

    Voom's PQ Is Lousy

    I noticed a few problems last night but nothing to get my panties in a wad over. VOOM has the most HD and the PQ is still pretty awesome! My PQ looks HORRIBLE when I turn my TV off! I get nothing but a blank screen.

    I have a 50" LCD that I watch from about 7 feet away. I see NO difference in PQ from NBCHD, CBSHD, PBSHD and VOOM. I am NOT a HD newbie. I have had VOOM for over a year and before that I had D* HD. I run the 50" LCD via DVI and have the VOOM box set to 720p
