    calibration question

    I've heard that HDNet has a calibration screen or two, but I've heard they are off some how... something about color balence or something like that. And I never been able to catch the dang show... but then again I haven't looked all that hard.

    calibration question

    So I'm well aware of how proper calibration can improve the quality of the viewing experience, but I have a question. All of the Do it yourself stuff, like DVE, are on DVD, which is great for analog connections. What do we do for DVI or HDMI connections short of getting a DVI/HDMI DVD player?

    hd test pattern on hdnet tuesday morning

    How do you run Avia or Digital Video Essentials on your HD input? I mean, I am using a HDMI port and my DVD player doesnt support that. So I'd need a component to HDMI adapter, or RGB(VGA) to HDMI adapter if I was going to run it from my laptop. suggestions?

    WOW !!!! Gregg Loewen calibrated my Hitachi 57" RPTV

    Now when I think of calibration I think of convergence. I have never seen any place on my Toshiba HD tube set that one can adjust convergence. Certainly one can adjust contrast, brightness, color saturation etc. :cool:
