Our local TWC system in Austin, Texas already has Cinemax HD and StarzHD being offered. We have had them for a few weeks now.

Well, I also switched from E* about 3 months ago and since then, TWC here in Austin has added Boom and after the Winter Olyimpics left Universal HD on a permanent basis. Now if they could just add ESPN 2 HD in time for the World Cup in June I will be extremely happy.

I alsao made the switch from Dish about 3 months ago after being a customer for 7 years and I couldn't be happier. Have not looked back!

It definitely means better picture. I am in Austin, recently switched back from Dish to TWC and I can tell you that the picture quality is great.

Hi Bucknut, I made the jump from Dish to TWC last week and very happy about my decision. Especially with the nice deal I am getting for 12 months. Call your local TWC and see if they have the special for Satellite subscribers. In my case, I am getting all digital channels, HBO, Showtime...

It depends on your local TWC but on mine, you can't. You have to get the standard cable to be able to get the HD tier. The HD tier is 10.00 and with the standard you get TNTHD, Discovery HD and your local HD channels.
