Just started a week ago. D-vhs input on sony xbr 960 out of sync when viewing content from dvr. Rebooting helps sometime but never lasts. Diagnostic menu says firewire on 3412 enabled but NOT active. Is this the problem. I can still record from i-link but it's hit or miss as to sync.

I e-mailed comcast why PBS Soundstage is broadcast in 2.0 stereo rather than 5.1 surround. No response. Could this be local channel 12 's fault or cable head-end problem. I can't pick up channel off air to compare sound format. comcast coatesville area

I recorded this 11/21 on my Comcast DVR on ABC's hd channel. On playback the end of Wheel Of Fortune is in HD and the local news after the show is in HD but the entire awards show is 4:3 SD. I could've sworn I watched part of this and it was HD. Can anyone comfirm? I'm in Phila. PA area.
