Okay that is what I was wondering. So if I'm on TV1 I want my timers to be set to record on TV1, and husband needs to have his on TV2. When I go to the Daily Schedule where it lists the recordings set for the week... for example, on Friday I have: 6pm Dr Who with a 2 7pm Man vs Wild 1 7pm...

Now that I have Dish Locals, I seem to have guide data on the OTA locals. If I'm correct... and I'm not sure I am, the Dish Locals are in the 8000 channel range? And my OTA local are still the 002-1 etc? Interesting. And I've set up my timers... ooo that is nice, getting only new episodes...

History HD USA HD SciFi HD I must admit, I watch History channel more than I thought I would. Not the war shows, but the ancient rome stuff is interesting. And Sci Fi! Man I can't believe they are not already.

With just having gotten a 622 and wanting to watch two different local stations on two different TVs at the same time, it seems we might have to purchase the locals package. It would be convenient to record two locals at the same time as well, and so I guess if I get locals through DISH I will...

Yeah... we managed to get the dish installed last night, and it is rather annoying. Plus, with the OTA my husband can only view them in single mode on his TV in his computer room, so has to watch what I watch. I'll look at the pricing for locals via Dish.

I'm waiting for a 622 as well, to be installed Monday, yay. Currently we have OTA of local chanels through the antenna to the new 42" plasma, and the quality is excellent. When we want to watch the old Dish box, we unplug the antenna coax, plug in the satellite coax, and put it on channel 3...
