Not only are the weather studio forecasts being badly repeated tonight, but their version of "weather on the 8's" are repeats as well! I'm looking at the radar on this thing and it's from hours ago!?! It's bad enough that they are repeating the studio forecasts (NOT BEING LIVE) but the radars...

Yeah I've been with Dish for awhile and could have gotten a Free HD upgrade a few months ago but wanted to wait. Now they want to charge me $99 to upgrade. Seems they have changed there way of not wanting to retain existing customers?

I counted every channel on the Directv page they had listed and I didn't get 130? I only counted 98? Am I missing something? DIRECTV: DIRECTV HD EDIT: Oh, I missed PPV HD channels I guess...To make the story short, both providers lie and implode their number.

What's the difference between this and Directv claiming they have the capacity to add 200 HD channels, but haven't even added any yet? I'm sure when Directv gets their satellite in working order they will be making the same bogus claims as Dish..

Yes it sucks but Dish doesn't carry MSG-HD, so they can't show that feed and CSN-Philly isn't even on satellite (even though I've seen that Directv shows Phillies games on MLB Extra Innings from that network..)

I think the point Bob is trying to make is if Dish has a channel that is set aside for HD (example: CSN-Chicago or any other RSN with a HD counterpart for that matter), then they need to use it! Now if we are talking about MLB Network or EI, then yes I agree, Directv should be your destination...

Bob, maybe you can start a thread that lists all the games missing in HD on RSN's and add to it everyday? Maybe someone from Dish will finally get the point, but I doubt it! :rolleyes: You can add all the MASN HD games too, since Dish doesn't think my market deserves our games in HD...:rant:

Yeah, that's another point to have them HD 24/7...Even if a game is broadcast in SD, it's still better watching the HD channel then the regular SD channel.

I'm with you grb..It's Dish's fault with all the screw-ups, which really sucks. If they just offered the NHL Center Ice package like Directv does, I would have no complaints. I am really looking at Directv for next year but I really don't want too! I love my setup with Dish but why they can't...
