GAME ON! Echostar XI successfully reaches Geo-synchronous Transfer orbit!

There are huge signal lost on fringe area of the satellite since E11. And even some TP change to 7/8 FEC make it hard to maintain signal in heavy rain down pour. Some TP's are no greater than 55% quality.

GAME ON! Echostar XI successfully reaches Geo-synchronous Transfer orbit!

That could be true. but I think the TP they move from activities I see is probably TP 1,5 and 9. Tonight they are the ones showing very good signal in PR and on fringe location. By the way I am in miami

GAME ON! Echostar XI successfully reaches Geo-synchronous Transfer orbit!

As E8 shift to make room for E11 I believe some areas benefit from better signal. I am on the fringe and the signal on 8, 16 and 24 is down 50%. TP8 is 55% use to ge this at 70+. TP16 now 55 before 83 and TP 24 42-55 now use to be 85.. The PR spot beem is on E10 (90+%). I notice some...

GAME ON! Echostar XI successfully reaches Geo-synchronous Transfer orbit!

What is your location and what size dish do you have? I notice TP 1 has a very low signal. I get TP 8,16 and 24 above 70% even before E11 was at 110W.

GAME ON! Echostar XI successfully reaches Geo-synchronous Transfer orbit!

In the Southern Caribbean I am checking on the 110W signal with a 1.8m Channel Master with Aspen-Eagle DSS LNBF and TP 14 is normally 70 ~83+%; TP 8=70+ and TP 21 also normally have a good signal above 70% and this is without fine tuning the dish. I do not think E11 is in operation yet. What...

    Eastern Arc: Risky Business Plan?

Taking all that was said into consideration it mean that the signal strength may be low. For I guess a high signal strength may interfere with those Canadian Sat.

    depressed: 61.5 weak signal

An 8' dish is over-kill for the US even in FL. People in the southern Caribbean use that size dish. I am using a 6' for AMC4 and Galaxy 25 and getting all the channels on both satellites.

    Dish Network in the Caribbean

The problem in the Caribbean especially we in the southern part is that you would have to purchase atleast a 2.4m dish to get quality signal and that way too expensive (minimum US$1550 for a 2.4m offset dish). Maybe they can have 4 or 5 spot beans to the Caribbean, I understand the spot beam for...

    Dish Network in the Caribbean

We can get the signal but no video. An FTA box I believe can see the signal strength on any DVB TP which dish use. But I have seen people who are usinf FTA boxes to get Dish for free in the caribbean. I have three dishes. One (180cm Prime Focus) is on AMC4 (and I notice A&E in on there now), one...

    Dish Network in the Caribbean

Since these cable companies offer crap for lot of money. In my case we have one Cable company who probable show the channels they can get free so they do not have to pay the network. That leave a lot of Island people to buy dishes and get whatever programming they can get even pirating. I think...
