Maybe you should call Dish Network back and verify your getting an upgrade and its the Eastern arc. They didn't request any kind of charge for this at all. It was totally free upgrade for me. Maybe check your credit too while your at it just to be safe.

The eastern arc dish is points fairly high into the sky. It won't hurt to have them look in to it. Having just one dish is nice.

I believe the HD250 is the "add on HD" for the 250 channel package.

I am in the belief that if you have HD channels you should have recieved the notice that I got above and yes you would have to call them. I can't tell you for sure if you don't have HD if you need to do anything.
