I've got the same problem with my Mitsubishi and the 622 (although component). My previous 811 fit the screen perfectly, while the 622 has quite a bit of overscan at the top & bottom. I plan to get the set calibrated this fall and hopefully the tech can take care of it.

OK ... but WHY $5 for NOT having a line connected? I thought have the phone line was for ordering pay-per-view and caller ID. I want to dump Qwest, but then Dish hits me for another $5???

I would like to put the 622 where the 811 is, move the 811 to where the 301 is and then disconnect the 301. Can I get the Dish 1000 upgrade and do it myself or do I have to schedule it? How much does it cost?

Hi All... I currently have an 811 & a 301 connected to a Dish 500 with a SW21 (or so it says under System Info). I currently get HD channels ESPN, HDNET, Discovery HD, TNT HD and my local HDs over-the -air. I want to get the new ViP622 for the DVR capabilities and also be able to received...

So, bottom line at this time is, with my 811 & Dish 500, I cannot pay the $5.00 and get the VOOM channels?

I've had the same screen blackout problem since getting 2.69. Have to reboot/reacquire and then all is OK. Go figure.

I've had an 811 for about two months (version 269 for about a week) and about two hours ago, I lost both picture & sound...just a black screen. Menus & program guides still come up and are current and the 301 in the bedroom works fine. Any thoughts? I've watched the timer on the program...

That's interesting ... I just spent 25 minutes with a CSR and she told me I would get a call back "in a couple of weeks" to schedule an 811 install because "they are in high demand and we have pre-order for you." So I asked how long after the pre-order could I expect an install an she indicated...
