    NOOB question on EHD swapping

    Hey do you know if there's a setting to tell the receiver to check if the program is already on the EHD? I have a 722k receiver and I know when I first added my EHD it was warning me if already recorded. Now I have to go to the EHD listing and look manually.

    Showtime free preview??

    I'm seeing in my guide on a 722k receiver that some Showtime channels plus TMC-E are live. It is showing as going until 4am Tuesday, March 28. The channels are 318 - 324 and 327. Is there a free preview channel on the hopper that can confirm this?

    Showtime free preview?

    On the VIP receivers(722k etc), page through the days on the guide to the highest it may trigger an outdated guide warning to download guide. Do a check switch or power cycle your receiver. That will force a guide download. I don't have a Hopper so not sure on those.

    Annoying PSA's

    I have a 722k and getting lots of local political ads on network channels syfy and FX plus others. I know if I hit the back button it's supposed to show the national commercial. But did we ever come up with a way to block them?

    Free Previews Discussion Thread - September 2022

    I've never had any luck with forwarding to the end or the red power button. Even the nightly system check doesn't always work. I don't understand why they didn't add update guide as an option in the system menu. I will just do a check switch when I go to bed. Thanks.
